Always seem to find deals they are cheaper then usually. Lol
I actually appreciate that it is "walkable" and not huge like the membership clubs. Typically I try to go in off-peak shopping hours. The displays are usually well stocked, neat, and inviting. DFW has evolved over the years and has features like freezers for ice cream and refrigerators for quick pick-up milk, cheese, o.j., bacon and such. They appear to have Vermont breads and current snack food displays, too. Fresh veggies and fruit can be pick-up at your second stop- Pete's Stand is recommended in the open season!
I enjoy finding brands that I'm not familiar with or foods that are different that I can try with less monetary risk and look for in other stores later if it was a hit.

A typical dented can, crushed or broken package / out of date liquidation store. The good news is not everything is out of date and you will find incredible deals. Standards include 25 cent packs of (in-date) gum and post holiday candy items. Ever changing stock so add it to your circuit when you are in the area. Staff is always pleasant as well. A bargain hunters paradise!
All that said- I shop with a vague list! The BEST thing is you just don't know what specific foods you will find- which adds to my idea of FUN. There are designated aisles for non-perishables -lots of pasta, canned veggies and fruits, juices and beverages, convenience products, baking items and snacks. There is a "dents and deals" area and soaps and paper products, too!
Loved the deals only thing is stock varies so they might not have something your looking for. Great place
